§ 13. Penalties for zoning violation.

The owner, agent, tenant, lessee, building contractor, architect, or any other person who commits, takes part in or assists in any violation of a structure or premises in or upon which a violation of this ordinance has been committed, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or by both fine and imprisonment. Each and every day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

Nothing herein contained shall prevent the city from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation.
